Before You Arrive
Your first professional facial at SkinSync begins before you walk through the door. Arrive with clean skin if possible — avoid heavy makeup, SPF, or active skincare products applied right before your appointment. This allows your esthetician to assess your skin in its natural state.
There is nothing complicated about preparing for a first facial. The most useful thing you can bring is a clear sense of your primary skin concern — whether that is texture, dullness, sensitivity, aging, or simply wanting to establish a professional routine.
The Skin Assessment
Every new client at SkinSync begins with a professional skin assessment before any treatment begins. This is not a sales conversation. It is a genuine examination of your skin's current condition — what it needs, what it does not, and what realistic expectations look like for your goals.
Your esthetician will ask about your current home care routine, any skin concerns or sensitivities, lifestyle factors that affect your skin (sun exposure, stress, sleep), and your goals for professional skin care. The assessment typically takes 10–15 minutes and shapes everything that follows.
The Treatment
Most treatments at SkinSync are 50 minutes. After the assessment, your esthetician selects the protocol most appropriate for your skin — not a fixed template applied to every first-time client. The session may include cleansing, exfoliation, infusion, targeted treatment, and finishing care, adapted to what your skin actually needs.
The experience is calm and unhurried. We do not rush appointments. If something is uncomfortable — pressure, temperature, a particular product — let your esthetician know immediately. Good professional skin care is responsive to your feedback in real time.
After Your Appointment
Your skin may look immediately refreshed, or it may need a day or two to settle depending on the treatment and your skin's starting condition. Mild temporary sensitivity or redness is normal after some treatments, particularly if your skin has not received professional care recently.
Avoid aggressive home exfoliation for 48 hours after your treatment. Use daily sun protection — always, and especially following a professional treatment. Your esthetician will give you specific aftercare guidance based on what your skin received.
One treatment is a starting point, not a result. The meaningful difference in skin quality comes from consistent monthly professional care over time. Many clients notice the clearest improvement after three to four consistent sessions.
